Sabato
notturni. Un salto in biblioteca a prenotare libri per me. Il ricordo
fulmineo di anni di sabato mattina trascorsi a pulire casa e
sistemare e cucinare mentre in biblioteca ci andava lui col bambino.

A Saturday morning bike ride,
accompanied by sunshine and a blue sky, with that crispy air which is
typical of a summer broken by storms at night. A jump to the library
to reserve books for me. The sudden memory of years of Saturday
mornings spent cleaning the house and cooking while it was him who
went to the library with our child. I smiled, thinking that the gaps
left by those who are not here now - including my little boy - can be
easlily filled with little things which turn big.

My garden and my house. Small
gestures to take care of them . And an intense desire to cook, since
there's a new recipe to try.
Ingredients:
200 grams of wheat flour
150 grams of zucchini
100 grams of fresh whole milk
2 eggs
1 egg white
80 grams of extra virgin olive oil
100 grams of semi-mature cheese (7 months) a small bunch of fresh marjoram
teaspoon sea salt
10 grams of baking powder
First preheat the oven to 200 ° C and butter (or oil) a plumcake mold.
Cut the zucchini into small cubes (the weight of 150 grams refers to the already cleaned and cut zucchini) and set aside.
Grate the cheese with a large holes grater and set aside.
Sift flour with baking powder, beat the eggs separately and pour the egg white into the flour with milk, oil, salt, marjoram, chopped zucchini and coarsely grated cheese. Stir quickly, the mixture should become smooth and don't mind the lumps.
Pour the mixture into the mold, level it at best, and bake for about forty minutes.
Remove from the oven, let cool ten minutes and serve with diced tomatoes or cherry tomatoes.

Pedalare pensando soltanto: voglio andare a casa.

My friend's phone call where we
settled to go by bike to town in the afternoon. Getting to the usual
place and find some company while thanking the universe for wearing a
heel 10. Shopping for my latest discovery: knittig. And then a
pre-dinner drink which lasts long while the sky darkens, the -
declined - offer of a ride by car and going back home, mostly
underneath a torrential rain, with wind blowing against you water
slapped into your face. Riding your bike with the constant thought: I
want to get home. And, getting into your courtyard soaked to the
bone, with cool clothes stucked to your body, to laugh with your
good-looking neighbour and to tell him that, after all, it was a
great experience.
Ho
attorno a me, in attesa dell'orario buono per uscire e saltare sopra

I spent my Sunday morning among small
gestures, enjoying the quiet around me and waiting for right time to
go out and jump on a train to Milan, where two irreplaceable friends
picked me up and we drove together to the hospital to visit the third
one, who had a seriuos operation which went well.
Ho
lavorato a maglia in entrambi i viaggi.
E sono rientrata verso sera,
sotto un cielo così.

I have been knitting on both trips.
And I drove back in the evening, under such a sky.
