ciao, babbo.

you are here whenewer I listen to jazz. or I shoot a picture with my camera. every time I step by piero or I see a kiosk with watermelons. you are in every unfolded sail in the wind, in the close-hauled sides, in the tinkling of the stays, in every single bubble of wave foam. you are here when I get to lipari, in every second of my staying there and in the rip of my leaving it. you are in the motorway curves. or in my little boy's curiosity when he asks for a picture of his grandpa whole and coloured. you are in a red wine glass, in a lentils plate or in a t-bone. you are here when I speak english. or when I dream and speak german. you are inside my love for foreign languages, for travels and for the sea.

you passed away thirty hears ago, today.
yet you are always with me.

hi, dad.

il fallimento non esiste - faiulure does not exist

Dr. Wayne D. Dyer - Le vostre zone erronee

sono salita in auto e mi ha accolto la voce di Adele. this is the end. hold your breath and count to ten.

This morning my mom called:  today is a bad day for you. it is always like this when there's a failure. I immediately found I disagree on both. And not because I wanted to contradict her at all costs. just because I like to wake up in the morning and plan both my thoughts and my day positively (even though I know that it's going to happen what it has to). and because I've read Dyer. and I know that the failure does not exist.

Failure does not exist. Failure is simply someone else's opinion of how a certain act should have been completed. Once you believe that no act must be performed in any specific other-directed way, then failing becomes impossible. Sometimes, however, you can fail in something according to your own evaluation criteria. It is important  not to equate that failure to self-esteem. To fail in a determined effort does not mean to fail as a person, it simply means not be successful in a given thing at a given moment.

Dr. Wayne D. Dyer – Your erroneous zones

I got into my car and I was greeted by Adele's voice. this is the end. hold your breath and count to ten.

So I held my breath as I was signing my judgment
of separation in front of the court  and, after two years, I was visualizing the closing of the circle. circles have to be closed. even when it hurts. also when you say I'm sorry and you cry over it a bit. it's life which is asking you to.

and even if I had not read Dyer, my son who calmly answers my question but don't you think your parents are happier now? with a yes and his father who, just after having left the court, sends me a text message that says I'm happy. it's just that when things end there is always a bit of sadness are enough for me as a confirmation of the fact that there is no failure at all and that my life is going exactly as it should. and in spite of everything, I'm happy too.

your piano arrived to my place on a truck from Vienna.
if you wanted to send me a sign, you succeded in that.

I was yesterday in what until the other day I called your house, which today is not even mine.
I found it empty and bare.
and while crossing the length and breadth of it, trying to take leave, I have crossed again the pain of your loss, as if it were yesterday.

I didn't thank it, the house, I mean.
I thank you, now, from here. as I can.

I look at your piano in my living room.
it reminds me every minute that you're gone.
and, at the same time, that you are always with me.

***

you've been flying two years already.
sometimes I feel you're far away, as if I let you go.
but I think of you every day.

I hope you're smiling right now.
and I don't have any sense of guilt for what I chose to do.
I only have some pain left.

due parole verso il cielo - two words towards heaven

102 sarebbero.
ti sei fermata a 100.

***

did you get the birthday wishes over there?
I guess lots of people have been thinking of you today.

You would be 102.
You stopped at 100.
And for me even 1000 wouldn't have been enough.

Miss you.
Happy Birthday

(dead people don't have birthdays, they say.
But for me you simply have no body but you're still alive, somewhere.
No doubt about it.)

adieu

gisella da un paio d'ore non è più mia.
e se n'è già andata.

se ho ben inteso, credo andrà all'estero.

Since a couple of hours, Gisella (my ex car) is not mine anymore.
And she has already left.

If I got it right, she will go abroad.
Good for her, I even almost envy her.

And let's face it, a tear was spread when I saw her drive away.
After all, I'm training for the cry pride.

I can definetly make it.

pagina vuota - blank page

fatico a volgere all'esterno.

e allora sto in silenzio.

e, prima o poi, torno.)

alfred gockel - uplifted heart

every time that I get here, with xthousend thoughts emotions ideas things to write, then I just stop.
and this page remains blank.

I am in my center.
it's hard to me to turn to the outside.

therefore I remain silent.

(but I'm fine, just in case someone wonders about it.
and, sooner or later, I'll be back.)

questioni di ♥ - matters of the ♥

(grazie)

le cose più belle del mondo
non si possono vedere o toccare.
si sentono col cuore.
helen keller

sometimes it’s not enough to breathe in an embrace where you feel protected.
or melt within the liquid gaze you love most.
there’s no need to pretend not to know that something is going to happen (and it will change your life forever).

compiling a mental list of things to do and not to move, leads you nowhere.
because it is difficult to close circles, yes, especially if they have been left open for too long.
but circles must be closed. always.
it’s life that is asking you it, if you want to go forward.

it's at times like these that I know I have to stop and to look inside, down there, to that imagery hole which hurts whenever an emotion goes through it.

a opened heart chakra is a funnel without filters.
and I find myself helpless, living amplified emotions.
(thanks)

the most beautiful things in the world
are not seen nor touched.
they are felt with the heart.
