bei pensieri a caso - beautiful random thoughts

scrivo poco. ho pensieri che mi frullano per la testa e faticano a prender forma. e' che non sono pensieri, in realta'. sono emozioni. e quelle, proprio, non le si puo' spiegare.

le lucine dell'albero di natale.

qualche foglia sparuta ancora aggrappata ad un ramo.

le bolle di sapone.

il profumo degli aghi di pino.

quello piccolo che si mette il pigiama da solo e va a lavarsi i denti in piena autonomia.

i miei nuovi libri.

e quelli presi in biblioteca.

qualcuno che amo che non sta bene ed al quale mando pensieri positivi e curativi.

il profumo del pane che cuoce.

la fiamma di una candela e la sua danza.

scorgo dettagli.

vivo il momento.

scrivo dei weekend ma so di vivere settimane altrettanto intense.

e non e' sempre tutto bello e rosa e facile.

ma e' sempre vita.

la mia.

la sola (in questo corpo e in questa pelle).

e vale sempre la pena di esser vissuta.

I rarely write. I have some thoughts whirling in my head and struggling to take shape. but they're are not really thoughts. They are emotions. and emotions can't be explained.

the lights of my Christmas tree.
a few leaves still clinging to a branch.
soap bubbles.
the scent of pine needles.
my little boy that wearing pajamas by himself and going to brush his teeth in full autonomy.
my new books.
and those taken at the library.
someone I love who is not well to whom I'm sending positive healing thoughts.
the smell of baking bread.
the flame of a candle and its dance.

I see details.
I live the moment.

I write about my weekends, but I live equally intense weeks.
and it's not always everything nice and pink and easy.
but it's life.
it's my life.
the only one (at least in this body and in this skin).
and life is always worth living.

I had said it here, in that weekend where ester inspired me so much, that we had started a new craft project.

no, no, non parto.

e' che l'ometto ha divelto l'ennesimo paio di pantaloni.

di papa', peraltro. che gia' a tutti gli altri gli ha messo le toppe la nonna.

e c'e' che io ho comprato questo libro.

e allora ieri sera ho pensato di dare il benvenuto al mio primo punto indietro.

sì, pero' la prossima volta faccio le cose con calma e invece dello stampino per biscotti e del pennellino uso la freezer paper, neh?

my little boy has broken another pair of trousers.

which were part of daddy's wardrobe (half of which has already been patched by his granny).

well, and then I bought this book.

that's why last night I decided to welcome my first backstitch.

ok, next time I'm just gonna take it easy and instead of using a cookie cutter and a paintbrush I'm gonna use freezer paper, right?

ringraziamento - thanksgiving

domani negli usa si celebra il giorno del ringraziamento. ok, da loro è tradizione secolare (che poi a me i padri pellegrini mi son sempre stati simpatici, se non altro perché loro con gli indiani d'america c'eran diventati amici, mica li hanno massacrati...). e perché mai noi non dovremmo avere un giorno del ringraziamento? che lo so bene che in ogni singolo giorno ci sono millemila motivi per dire grazie, ma non sarebbe bello che anche da noi si levasse verso l'universo un coro di voci unanime per ringraziare?

beh, io per me ho deciso. domani sarà anche il mio personalissimo giorno del ringraziamento. sapevatelo. :-)

Siate in uno stato di gratitudine per tutto ciò che appare nella vostra vita. Siate grati sia per le tempeste che per i momenti di navigazione tranquilla. Qual è la lezione o il regalo in ciò di cui stai facendo esperienza in questo momento? Trova la tua gioia non in ciò che manca nella tua vita, ma nel modo in cui puoi servire. tomorrow in the U.S.A. people celebrate Thanksgiving. ok, it's a secular tradition (by the way, I've always been fond of the Pilgrims Fathers, if only because they and the Native Americans had become friends, they did not massacre them ...). but why shouldn't we have a day for thanksgiving too? I very well know that in every single day there are millions of reasons to say thanks, but wouldn't it be nice if we should rise to the universe a unanimous chorus of voices saying 'thank you'?

well, as far as I am concerned, it's decided. tomorrow is going to be also my personal thanksgiving day. and I just wanted you to know it. :-)

Be in a state of gratitude for everything that shows up in your life. Be thankful for the storms as well as the smooth sailing. What is the lesson or gift in what you are experiencing right now?
