oggi - today

today has been made of kneading bread early in the morning, before going out to bring my little boy to school and to go back to work through all that grey and all that rain.
today has been made of hearing that new song on the radio while driving and smiling for having recognized his voice and most of all for feeling his words as if they were a second skin.
today has been made of having lunch with a colleague with whom there normally is the worst relationship, without having any digestive problem, since it was not that bad after all.
today has been made of an unexpected award, less then a week after the opening of this new blog (my new blue house), now it should be my turn. of course I am flattered, but I prefer not to participate. it is absolutely impossible for me to give the same award to a definite number of blogs. each single web page that I follow has a gift in itself or a reason to be special to me and / or to my heart. I do not have a closed list. there is a world of blogs who deserve such award. therefore I choose not to assign any award. and simply to let you know which is the best page that I have read today, this one.
today has been made of coming back home with a very bad headache and of healing it by playing on the sofa, baking bread and cooking a fresh vegetable soup and fresh fish. and by cutting the birthday invitations, which have been largely appreciated. and by watching my little kid while wearing his pj, by bringing him to bed, letting him choose a magic goodnight card, massaging his feet with sweet almond oil and lavander and telling him the story of the bean Albert, who speaks and has both eyes and a mouth. yes, he has chosen how to begin the story and then I had to invent everything else, so that my story ends with the marriage of Albert the bean with Eleanor the onion (who else?).
today has been a day just like many other days. with lots of tiny little things which are worth living. a day one can say thanks for. and go to bed still smiling.

e la canzone è questa - and here's the song

    mumble... patata e pisello.
    l'astinenza gioca dei bruttissimi scherzi...

    :-D
